Dental Hygiene

Verna has been with First Choice Community Healthcare Dental Program since 1994. She graduated from UNM Dental Hygiene in 1987 and has enjoyed a fulfilling career in public health. Growing up in a small Northern New Mexico town, Verna knows the value community healthcare workers can have on those who don't have access to routine care. She loves fishing and spending time outdoors. When asked what she wanted her patients to know about her, she stated-“I am kind, compassionate and I love what I do”.
