Family has always been a core value of mine and getting to know the family means knowing the whole person. Family medicine allows me to care for patients at every step of their life--from prenatal planning to after-death counseling. It also allows me to practice a wide range of medicine which is not possible in more narrow specialties. In particular, I am excited to integrate aspects that have long been overlooked in healthcare: mental health, addiction, socioeconomic impacts, and cultural differences.
