Dr. Laura Pauwels obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2017. She continued her education at Columbia by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in 2018 and a Master of Public Health degree in 2019. She is a member of the National Health Service Corps and joined the First Choice Community Healthcare Dental Program in 2019. Dr. Laura Pauwels enjoys traveling, swimming, a walk on the Bosque and spending time with her husband, kids, and their Jack Russel Terrier, Oskar. When asked what 3 words describe her best she stated - "caring, thoughtful, and happy."
