I am a Board Certified as a Family Physician. I went to Medical School at the University of Kansas and did my residency in Pueblo, CO finishing in 1995. I have worked in community health centers my entire career in Colorado, Washington and here in New Mexico at First Choice since 2002. I practice the full spectrum of family medicine except for OB. I have a special interest in school wellness and obesity prevention. I strive to use an integrative approach to disease prevention and management whenever possible. I joined First Choice because I feel that quality, accessible, affordable health care is a human right and should not be only for those that can pay.
