Giovanni Avila, DMD

Dr. Avila was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his BS degree in General Biology at the University of California, San Diego. He completed a 1-year master’s program at Boston University in 2017, where he earned his MS degree in Oral Health Sciences. He stayed in Boston for four more years, earning his DMD degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2021. Afterwards, he completed the 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the University of New Mexico. He stayed in New Mexico and joined the First Choice Community Healthcare Dental program in 2022. Dr. Avila wants his patients to know that they can count on him and his colleagues to provide quality comprehensive dental treatment at the standard of care, and – with their cooperation – prevention and stabilization of their oral health. When he’s not at work, Dr. Avila enjoys spending time with family and friends in the outdoors and sharing delicious food.
