Behavioral Health Program Director

Luisana, LCSW, MBA is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Program Director, and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor who brings heart, clinical expertise, and thoughtful leadership to behavioral health services. She believes strong programs are built on connection, compassion, and teams that feel supported, because when clinicians are cared for, clients receive better care.

Raised in the South Valley, Luisana earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in bilingual and bicultural clinical practice from New Mexico Highlands University. She recently earned her Master of Business Administration with a focus on management, strengthening her ability to lead teams, grow sustainable programs, and expand access to quality mental health services in the communities she serves. As Program Director, she works closely alongside her team to build services that are responsive, inclusive, and grounded in real community needs.

Luisana’s clinical background includes working with children, adults, and older adults, including individuals involved in Treatment Foster Care, the justice system, and those receiving end-of-life support. She has also worked with the PACE program and in care management at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Her clinical approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, integrating EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and psychodynamic practices.

At her core, Luisana is deeply committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and valued, whether they are clients seeking care or staff doing the work every day.
