Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Rauchfuss came out west to Albuquerque for residency training in family medicine at UNM, which is actually where her parents first met… in the SCUBA club, and the reason they moved closer to the ocean after graduating, but always kept green chile in the freezer. Dr. Rauchfuss is most passionate about helping patients understand their body so they can make their own decisions to optimize their health and quality of life. Her practice scope includes all ages, prenatal care, suboxone for opioid dependence and gender affirming hormone treatment for transgender patients.
