First Choice Holds Golf Tournament July 22

Proceeds will Benefit Expansion Efforts South Valley and Edgewood Health Commons Expansion Projects


First Choice Community Healthcare will hold its golf tournament on Friday, July 22 with a shotgun start at 8:00 am. The UNM Championship Golf Couse, South with 7,248-yard (par 72) will host the event. Proceeds will benefit South Valley and Edgewood Health Commons Expansion Projects. Spots are still available for the tournament and you can register the day of the tournament. The event will feature a delicious awards luncheon and chance to win a new car from Reliable Chevrolet with a hole in one. Donations are welcomed and appreciated.

Tournament day check-in begins before 7:00 am and tee time is at 8:00 am. Entrance fees are $125 per player or $500 per team of four, and include lunch, greens fees, range balls, and cart fees.

Recognizing that health and wellness are tied to education and community, First Choice Community Healthcare mission extends beyond just medical and dental services, to improving the health, life-skills and well-being of all members in the communities we serve.

The proceeds generated through this Golf Tournament will be used specifically for the First Choice Community Healthcare South Valley Health Commons Expansion and Edgewood Health Commons Expansion Projects. The South Valley Health Commons Expansion will feature a new charter school, early childhood development center, wellness center, community farm, farm to table restaurant and lease space. The Edgewood Health Commons Expansion will include a new 42,000 square foot Health Center, a wellness center and lease space for businesses. The Edgewood expansion will provide a healthcare home to 20,000 patients from the region. These Expansion Projects were selected with the goal of investing in those enterprises that have the best hope of mitigating social-economic indicators as well as to be financially sustainable through co-location and cooperation, thereby generating a sustainable wellness ecosystem.
