2ND ANNUAL OPEN ENROLLMENT KICK-OFF EVENT

FCCH is having this event to schedule appointments for individuals seeking to enroll in the Health Insurance Exchange or Medicare for future enrollment periods. Enrollment for Medicare begins October 15th through December 15th, 2015. Enrollment for the Health Insurance Exchange begins November 1st through January 31st, 2016. This event is also to schedule appointments for those seeking to enroll in Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Enrollment in Medicaid/CHIP is year-round.  Click for flyers in English or Spanish.

Why is this event important to me?

  • If you do not have health insurance and choose not to buy it or enroll in Medicaid/Medicare, or qualify for an exemption; you will be subject to pay a “fine” or “penalty”, increasing every year, as described within the Affordable Care Act.
