Watch Us Grow

The new South Broadway Health Center on William Street opened in January, 2011. It replaces the old South Broadway health center, which served the community since 1975. We more than doubled the size to 15,650 square feet and aim to double our capacity to see patients and WIC clients. Take a virtual tour of the new $3.2 million health center by clicking on gallery.

First Choice broke ground on Aug. 11  on a new Los Lunas Family and Community Health and Regional Dental Center. The $8.1 million replacement facility is expected to be finished in August 2012 and more than double our capacity to serve the region. Check out the Groundbreaking Ceremony Photos!

The 43,000 square-foot South Valley Health Commons opened in 2008 and provides a model for integrated care and collaboration with community health partners. The $13 million project replaced the original 1972 First Choice health clinic (then called Albuquerque Family Health Center). The project allowed us to triple our service to the South Valley community. It is only the beginning of First Choice's investment in the community's health and wellness. What's next?  Under the Affordable Health Care Act's Capital Development Grant Program, First Choice will continue to expand capacity and our scope of services at existing sites.
